The Senior Tax Accountant / CPA will play an integral role in providing sophisticated
tax planning, tax compliance, and consulting services for individuals, businesses, trusts,
and estates. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of public accounting
experience, possess strong technical tax knowledge, and be comfortable working
directly with clients while collaborating with attorneys on complex planning matters.

Compensation
$125,000 – $150,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Compensation:$125,000 - $150,000
Responsibilities:Prepare and review individual, business, trust, and fiduciary tax returns.
Develop proactive tax planning strategies for individuals and closely held businesses.
Provide year-round tax consulting and advisory services.
Research complex federal and state tax issues.
Represent clients before the IRS and state taxing authorities when appropriate.
Assist clients with tax compliance, estimated tax planning, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with attorneys on estate planning, business succession planning, and wealth preservation strategies.
Review financial statements and tax information to identify planning opportunities and minimize tax exposure.
Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through exceptional communication and service.
Mentor and support junior accounting staff while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Stay current on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure clients receive accurate and strategic guidance.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
5 to 10 years of public accounting experience required.
Extensive experience preparing complex individual, business, trust, and fiduciary tax returns.
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
Experience with tax planning and strategic tax consulting.
Experience representing clients before the IRS or state taxing authorities is highly preferred.
Familiarity with estate and trust taxation is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
