Job Description

We are seeking a QA Tester with 4+ years of experience in Manual Testing and/or Automation Testing to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, collaborating with development teams, and ensuring applications meet business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and/or automated test cases.
• Analyze business and functional requirements to create effective test plans and test scenarios.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and smoke testing.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Validate software releases and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Prepare test reports and communicate testing progress and results.
• Ensure software quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA).
• Strong experience in Manual Testing and/or Automation Testing .
• Experience in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Knowledge of SDLC and STLC methodologies.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Strong understanding of Functional, Regression, Integration, and System Testing.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or UFT.
• Knowledge of API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant QA or Automation Testing certifications are a plus.
