Job Description
The General Production Worker supports the production of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) units by managing incoming battery shipments and preparing materials for assembly. This role focuses on safely handling, organizing, and transporting battery components throughout the production process to maintain an efficient and continuous workflow on the production floor. Over time, team members have the opportunity to expand their skills through cross-training in multiple areas of production.

Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing facility focused on the production of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) units. The work involves frequent handling, lifting, and movement of battery packs and components, as well as repetitive assembly and packaging tasks. Team members work on a 12-hour shift schedule with a 2-3-2 pattern, which may include weekdays and weekends. Available shifts include day shifts from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm and night shifts from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am across multiple teams (Blue 1, Blue 2, Gold 1, Gold 2). The environment emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and organization, with established processes and safety standards guiding daily activities. Appropriate work attire suitable for a production floor is expected, including clothing and footwear that support safe material handling and movement around equipment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
